Rock Walls

So, you know I kind of hit a wall last week, so I refused to weigh myself this week. I was comfortable with that decision- until this morning. When I went to take a shower this morning, I had a moment...so i weighed in. I was 219.0 lbs! :oD That's right! Here is a recap: Week1 (start): 237.5 Week 2 : 225.5 Week 3: 224.5 Week 4: 219 Total: -18.5 lbs Let's just hope that the rock walls keep crumbling so that I can find what is buried within.

  1. I once wrote a babble that the scale can be our friend and our frenemy. If we get on and the news is good, we either stay focused and continue to eat well and loss more weight or we lose focus and congratulate ourselves with a "treat". It doesn't matter. Just get right back on track. That's all that matters. This is just another task or chore in your life. Sometimes you clean the house every week and sometimes you miss a week. Do you punish yourself or berate yourself? No. You just go until it bothers you enough that you start cleaning again. Try that with dieting. No one is super human. We all have bad days [or weeks], we all have triggers. Know what they are and that they happened and move on. You have a way to go to reach your goal. Allow yourself the knowledge that this is a slow and steady marathon and not a speed race.
